We believe that oil is a family matter and as we started this new wonderful adventure we decided to embed this in a special way, starting right from the name.

In fact, Poggio Amasi is the acronym of our names: Andrea, Martina, Anne, Silvia and Ignazio.

In 2016, we acquired the olive grove with the purpose of reviving a magnificent and almost completely abandoned place in the heart of the Maremma in order to produce a high quality oil, combining the tradition of Tuscan gastronomic culture with our Milanese pragmatism.

All three women of our family, Silvia, Martina and Anne, have taken over the management of the olive grove. Martina is married in Siena and has always had a strong connection to Maremma, first as an archaeologist and now as a young agricultural entrepreneur. It is her responsibility to oversee the production with passion and enthusiasm, in order to obtain an excellent EVO, guaranteed by the Consortium for the protection of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil IGP.
